When Lilli was 12 years old she joined the Youth Circus Mignon in Hamburg, where she first learned how to climb the silks and spin around on a hoop. During the period of six years she widely improved her technical level as well as her physical theatre and performing skills. She performed in several productions for many audiences and participated in International Youth Circus Festivals.
In a recent visit home to Hamburg German Television Channel NDR recorded and broadcast a short film about Lilli's circus journey titled 'In der Luft Zuhause' (At home in the Air). Directed by Kolja Robra
Once Lilli completed her school education in Hamburg, Germany, she followed her heart and moved to London where she started her professional Circus career at the Circus Space. Her three years Bachelor of Honors Degree in Circus Arts offered an extensive training program including aerial skills, acrobatics, physical theatre, movement, body conditioning, yoga, ballet, the creation of acts and business and marketing classes. Having specialised in aerial hoop, Lilli did not only create a beautiful solo routine in the course but also met her future aerial duo partner Sara Lundstedt in the Circus Space. They enjoyed working together from the first day they met and still perform their duo hoop today!
Since graduating from the Circus Space in 2007, Lilli has performed internationally at corporate events, private parties, festivals, operas, theatres, theme parks, night clubs and on board cruise liners.
Previous clients include English National Opera, Universal Studios Japan, The Roundhouse London, Armani, Mercedes Benz World, Honda, Ferrari, Cirque du Soleil, Diageo, Akzo Nobel, Herbalife, MSC Cruise Liners and many more.
Lilli offers her personally choreographed solo acts, which are suitable for all sorts of events. Both her solo hoop and a solo silk routines can be adapted to clients’ needs and themed events. Her skills include aerial silks, aerial hoop, trapeze, rope, harness, stilts and unicycle.
Lilli also offers duo hoop and synchronised silk routines as well as bespoke ensemble performances. She works with a small team of well-established performers who can offer anything from a five-minute act to a full-length show.
Lilli has previously been involved in side specific shows, experiential circus, group acts, film projects, TV commercials and photo shoots. She is always excited to learn new skill, be part of original projects and would love to hear your ideas!
